CGIS School Nurse - Part-time

The CGIS School Nurse role involves assessing the health needs of students and developing emergency care plans and individual health plans with input from parents/physician, ensuring compliance with relevant health laws and district requirements, providing appropriate care for ill or medically fragile students, serving as a health resource to parents/guardians and staff, and identifying health problems for referral. Responsibilities include following Maryville City Schools Health Services Guidelines, managing multiple tasks, administering first aid and medications as required, implementing and monitoring health care plans, conducting mandated screenings, maintaining confidential student health records, contributing to professional development, and responding to emergency medical situations. The position is part-time (2 days per week: Thursdays and Fridays, 7am–3pm) based in Maryville, Tennessee, with a focus on student health and safety.
