Job Summary
Billing and Collections Specialist responsible for accounts receivable, client billing, collections follow-up, Ramp credit-card administration, and month-end reconciliations. Key duties include preparing and issuing invoices, reviewing contracts for billing accuracy, maintaining customer records, monitoring AR aging, performing collections outreach, collaborating to resolve billing disputes, providing aging reports, managing Ramp credit cards and ensuring accurate coding, and reconciling monthly credit-card activity to the general ledger. Requires 2+ years in billing/AR/collections, experience with invoicing software, Excel proficiency, and familiarity with Sage Intacct and Ramp is a plus; strong communication, attention to detail, and proactive task ownership are essential.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years in billing, accounts receivable, or collections roles (preferably in a B2B environment)
- Experience with accounting or invoicing software
- Basic knowledge of Excel or similar tracking tools
- Experience with Sage Intacct and Ramp Accounting software is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and proactive approach
