CFY SLP - Skilled Nursing Setting

Conduct supervised evaluations and diagnoses of speech, language, communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders using FEES and standardized assessments. Develop individualized treatment plans under mentor guidance to lead therapy sessions for communication recovery, cognitive strategies, voice work, and safe swallowing including diet modifications and mealtime support. Provide resident and family counseling while documenting progress to meet CFY competencies and ASHA hours. Begin with a paid two-week orientation of direct, intensive supervision followed by unlimited access to a Clinical Speech Director and ongoing support from current fellows.
