Job Summary
CFTC Regulatory Reporting Business Analyst role focusing on implementing the Control Model and in-house swap data reporting engine. Responsible for writing detailed business requirements for trade eligibility, CFTC reporting fields, validation logic, and control ownership; conducting gap analyses between the parallel control model and current production reporting; defining and validating reporting logic using BigQuery; supporting design reviews and future-state reporting architecture with technology, compliance and operations; developing test scenarios for swap data reporting, including product name changes, exotic classification and exercise suppression; interpreting CFTC Part 43/45 obligations for the data model and reporting design; producing status updates and day-by-day delivery plans; supporting BAU CFTC reporting queries and issue resolution; producing documentation for control ownership, business requirements and implementation readiness; 5+ years’ experience in CFTC Part 43/45 swap data reporting; strong DA/BI collaboration with engineering; 12-month contract with 5 days in the London office.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years' experience in CFTC Part 43/45 swap data reporting
- Proven Business Analysis skills — requirements writing, acceptance criteria, structured documentation and delivery tracking
- Deep knowledge of SDR reporting flows and lifecycle event handling, preferably DTCC DDR
- Hands-on experience working alongside Engineering teams on regulatory reporting implementations
- Strong understanding of data lineage, reconciliations and control frameworks
- Experience with BigQuery or equivalent data querying tools for validation and testing purposes
- Ability to manage and communicate a structured, milestone-driven delivery plan to senior stakeholders
- Strong documentation and stakeholder management skills
