Job Summary
The CFSS Captain leads and supervises a team of CFSS consultation coordinators, auditing work, conducting performance evaluations, and supporting coverage caseloads while maintaining care quality aligned with CFSS standards. Responsibilities include supervising coordinators, managing billable unit expectations, approving PTO/timecards/expenses, coordinating resources for persons served, monitoring service delivery, developing service plans, attending regular meetings, providing consultations and training to direct reports, and performing WIP audits using Planstreet. This role supports persons with diverse needs (developmental disabilities, serious mental illness, chemical dependency, physical disabilities, aging) and participates in hybrid work arrangements (2 remote days, 3 in-office days per week after training and performance benchmarks). The position reports to the CFSS Supervisor and offers a comprehensive benefits package and professional growth opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree or higher is required from an accredited four-year college or university in a related field.
- Have a bachelor’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy, Occupational Therapy Assistant, Physical Therapy, Physical Therapy Assistant, Psychology, Social Work, Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology, Professional Recreation staff, Nutrition and Dietetics, Dietetics, Sociology, Counseling Special Education, Rehabilitation Counseling or other Human Services fields.
- Education Substitution: One year of direct work with people with disabilities or adults aged 65 and older; or one year of coordinating/directing services for people with disabilities or adults aged 65 and older; or experience coordinating one’s own services.
