Job Summary
Oversee all financial aspects of the organization, including managing resources, preparing reports for the CEO and Board, and leading annual budget and audit processes. Direct the accounting department by planning work schedules, interviewing staff, conducting evaluations, and ensuring compliance with laws and policies. Advise leadership on financial operations, maintain insurance and benefit plans, and monitor billing accuracy. Drive financial strategy to support growth while mitigating risks and aligning technology investments with corporate goals. Model the organization's mission and values in all external and internal interactions.
Required Qualifications
- 21 years old or older
- Criminal / Child Abuse Clearance: Must pass criminal record and child abuse registry background check as required by the State of Montana
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- 10 years of professional work experience in a leadership role in Behavioral Healthcare or Public Accounting with Healthcare Financial Management experience with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership or executive capacity
- Experience upgrading legacy financial architectures
- Ability to align technology investments with corporate strategy
- Supervised and mentored an accounting team of five or more professionals
- Ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with financial reporting standards
- Partner with the CEO and executive team to drive long-term business planning
- Oversee finance and accounting departments to ensure accurate preparation of income statements, balance sheets, and regulatory compliance
