Job Summary
CFO / VP of Finance for Burgess Memorial Hospital (Onawa, IA) – hands-on, executive financial leadership role reporting to the CEO with direct access to the Board Finance Committee. Responsible for directing all financial operations of a $32M–$35M rural CAH, driving system and workflow optimization (including Epic integration), and serving as the primary finance voice at the senior leadership table. Key duties include cost reporting, CMS reimbursement management, external representation, and overseeing financial systems post-implementation. Requires 6+ years in healthcare/non-profit, experience with cost reporting and CMS reimbursement, and strong cross-functional communication. Strongly preferred: MHA and prior hospital finance leadership in smaller/mid-sized settings. Competitive compensation; on-site in Onawa, Iowa.

- 6+ years of experience in healthcare, non-profit, or closely related field
