Job Summary
CFO role focused on strategic financial leadership: act as the finance executive partner to the senior leadership team, drive long-term financial planning, budgeting and forecasting, implement financial systems and controls, supervise accounting and finance staff, coordinate audits, and manage relationships with lenders, investors and external partners. Key duties include preparing monthly budgeting and P&L analyses by division, managing cash flow and working capital, ensuring SOX compliance, GAAP/IFRS adherence, ERP systems management (SAP/JD Edwards/PeopleSoft), and providing strategic insight on growth initiatives and capital allocation. Requires a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, CPA, extensive CFO-level experience (6+ years in CFO roles with $100M+ scale, 14+ years total finance experience), and strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. MBA preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA Required
- MBA from top 10 business school preferred
- 6 years minimum experience as a CFO in a ($100 million+), public or private
- 14+ years total accounting or finance experience
- Outstanding knowledge and understanding of GAAP, IFRS, SOX compliance
- Background coordinating with IT staff to manage and/or upgrade accounting system; systems implementation experience strongly preferred
- Hands On ERP Systems Experience – SAP, JD Edwards or PeopleSoft experience preferred
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrated leadership ability, confidence and executive presence – ability to motivate staff
- Excellent analytical, reasoning and problem-solving skills
- Significant experience working with external auditors, internal controls and compliance-related issues
