Job Summary
Chief Financial Officer responsible for directing financial planning, accounting, reporting, internal controls, financing compliance, investment oversight, payroll administration, insurance oversight, technology/IT oversight during transition, and long-range financial strategy; serve as a strategic partner to the President/CEO and Board, translating complex financial information for residents, the Finance/Audit Committee, and leadership; oversee finance staff and external financing relationships; produce readable, actionable financial reporting packages with trends and dashboards; participate in resident communications through town halls and council meetings; ensure bond covenant and financing document compliance and coordination with auditors, actuaries, and external advisors.
Required Qualifications
- Senior financial leadership experience in a nonprofit, healthcare, or senior living setting preferred
- Experience in financial planning, accounting, and reporting
- Strong communication skills with boards and residents
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance, budgets, and internal controls
- Leadership of finance teams and cross-functional collaboration
