Job Summary
Lead and direct the company's financial strategy, operations, and activities in accordance with Board directives. Prepare comprehensive financial reports and forecasts for management, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies. Oversee month-end closing, budget preparation, and internal control policies while supervising payroll and accounting functions. Ensure compliance with Title 16, Minimum Internal Control Standards, and State Gaming Regulations. Coordinate audits, resolve discrepancies, and maintain relationships with banks and regulatory agencies. Review financial systems for automation opportunities and lead, mentor, and develop staff. This full-time, in-office role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with 10+ years of senior financial experience. Compensation ranges from $165,000 to $255,000 annually, with benefits including medical, vision, dental, and a 20% discount on venue merchandise.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience in a senior financial role
- In-depth knowledge of general accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting, and regulatory compliance
- Familiarity with NetSuite or similar financial software
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams)
- Ability to communicate complex financial information to top management and external stakeholders effectively
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure
- Ability to pass an in-depth background check and obtain a State Gambling License and San Jose Policy Key Employee License
- Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to foster a collaborative work environment
- Advanced proficiency in financial analysis and reporting
- Strong mathematical, analytical, and reasoning abilities
- Ability to make sound financial decisions
- Ability to understand industry-specific regulations and financial controls
