Job Summary
Interim CFO responsible for leading M&A readiness, providing executive-level financial leadership to management and the board, and ensuring a successful closing and post-transaction transition. Responsibilities include strengthening financial reporting, KPIs, case-level analytics, accounting controls (with emphasis on trust accounting), data quality, cash-to-accrual adjustments with GAAP/IFRS compliance, forecasting/budgeting/cash management, due diligence risk mitigation, coordinating with investment bankers/attorneys/diligence teams, managing buyer requests, supporting valuation and deal structuring, maintaining a diligence-ready data room, and providing weekly CFO-level updates to management and the board.
