Job Summary
Develop and execute the company's financial strategy aligned with business growth objectives while leading budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling processes across the organisation. Oversee financial management of construction projects including project budgeting, cash flow forecasting, cost tracking, and margin analysis. Act as a key advisor to the CEO and Board on financial performance, risks, and opportunities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards. Establish and maintain strong internal controls and financial governance frameworks to mitigate financial and operational risks. Lead and develop the finance team including accounting, treasury, and financial planning functions to strengthen financial capabilities across the organisation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- Minimum 12–15 years of progressive finance leadership experience
- Proven experience managing project accounting and cost management in large-scale construction projects
- Prior experience working with senior leadership and board stakeholders
Desired Qualifications
- Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, ICAEW, or equivalent
- Experience in treasury, project financing, and banking relationships
- Strong commercial and strategic mindset
- Deep understanding of construction financial management and project cost structures
- Excellent financial modelling and analytical capabilities
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
- High integrity and strong governance orientation
