Job Summary
Certified X-Ray Technologist needed for a mobile, part-time role in New York City. Travel required across Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, and the Bronx to provide diagnostic X-ray services at skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, private homes, and rehabilitation centers. Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations, operate portable X-ray equipment, verify physician orders, and ensure adherence to ALARA and infection-control protocols. Maintain accurate documentation, communicate with facility staff and referring physicians, and coordinate with the driver and support team to ensure timely service delivery. Requires a Bachelor's or Associate's degree in radiologic technology and a New York State license; ARRT certification preferred. Must have at least 1 year of X-ray experience and be willing to travel within the NYC area. Competitive hourly rate of $50.00 with transportation and equipment provided.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in radiologic technology or related field
- New York State License
- ARRT Certification preferred
- At least 1 year of experience as an X-ray Technologist
- Proficiency in diagnostic X-ray examinations and portable X-ray equipment
- Knowledge of ALARA principles and radiation safety
- Strong communication and ability to work independently
