Job Summary
Serve as a clinical resource and consultant to nursing staff regarding patient care for ostomies, fistula tubes, dermal wounds, incontinence, and gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and integumentary disorders. Assist with staff development, staff education, and patient education related to these care areas. Work a standard schedule of 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with no weekend or on-call requirements. Requires a BSN, Georgia RN license, two years of clinical experience, and board certification in wound and ostomy care.
Required Qualifications
- BSN graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations
- Two years of related clinical nursing experience
- Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS)
- Graduate of an accredited Wound, Ostomy, and Continence (WOC) Nursing Education Program
- Board certification in Wound and Ostomy care
