Job Summary
Conduct direct patient care, evaluation, and education for patients with ostomies, draining wounds, pressure ulcers, and chronic wounds. Recommend wound supplies and equipment to optimize treatment outcomes. Provide task-oriented support by floating to other departments as qualified. Manage care within the RPMS EMR system. Complete orientation on Mondays prior to shift start. This 13-week contract in Fort Defiance, AZ, requires a Certified Wound Care Nurse with at least three years of experience and a valid RN license.
Required Qualifications
- Mandatory Wound Care Certification (WOCN, WCC, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 3 years wound care experience
- Valid, unrestricted RN license in any U.S. state or territory
- BLS American Heart Association
- Comfortable floating to other departments for task-oriented support (as qualified)
- Orientation held on Mondays only compliance must be completed beforehand
Desired Qualifications
- ACLS preferred, but not required
