Job Summary
Conduct field testing and inspections in accordance with applicable codes and project requirements, ensuring all work aligns with plans and specifications. Review project documents and accurately document results and observations in daily reports while communicating findings clearly with contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders. The ideal candidate must be a current AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) with structural and/or bridge experience, along with NDT Level II certification in UT Shearwave and Magnetic Particle Testing, or NACE Level II or III certification.
Required Qualifications
- Current AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)
- Structural and/or bridge experience
- NDT Level II certification in UT Shearwave and Magnetic Particle Testing
- NACE Level II or III certification
- ICC certification in Structural Steel and Bolting
- Willingness to obtain the ICC Firestopping certification
