Certified Welding Inspector

Certified Welding Inspector role in Eclipse Automation's nuclear tech center: perform weld inspections and monitoring to ensure compliance with CSA, AWS, ASME, or ISO standards; conduct fit-up and final inspections of welded components; create NDE requests and review reports; perform receiving inspection of weld consumables; develop, review, and implement welding procedures with engineers; troubleshoot non-conformances; create weld maps and logs; maintain detailed records and assist in project history packages; mentor junior welders and inspectors; collaborate with engineers, project managers, and welders to sustain quality and process improvements; adhere to ethical standards and Eclipse policies; strong written and verbal communication skills required.
