Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Technician

Job Summary
Perform bolted and welded structural reviews on building/construction sites and fabrication shop inspections, conduct non-destructive testing of welds and structural members (UT/MT/PT), perform field witnessing and sample collection with related lab testing, and support other service reviews as needed. Travel to project sites within the state and potentially to other states; work involves evaluating highway structures, testing welders' performance and procedures, and documenting field observations while adhering to safety protocols and client requirements.
Required Qualifications
- A current American Welding Society (AWS) Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification.
- Quality Control (QC) or Quality Assurance (QA) related NDT experience with one or more current ASNT SNT-TC-1A, Level II certification for UT, MT, and/or PT; or relevant NDT training log documentation that would qualify for pursuing examination and certification in these methods.
- High School Diploma or GED.
