Job Summary
Perform structural and production welding using approved procedures while reading blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols. Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment, then inspect completed welds to ensure quality and compliance with specifications. Execute grinding, fitting, and finishing as required, while strictly following safety policies, PPE requirements, and company procedures. Work closely with supervisors, Quality, and production departments to meet schedules and maintain a clean work area. Candidates must hold current welding certification or pass the company's weld qualification test, with experience in MIG and Flux-Core welding preferred. This role supports Uni-Form Components Corp.'s manufacturing team focused on quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Current welding certification or the ability to successfully pass the Company's weld qualification test
- Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols
- Knowledge of measuring tools and fabrication equipment
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the workday
- Ability to safely wear required personal protective equipment
- Must successfully complete a pre-employment weld test before an offer of employment is extended
