Job Summary
Certified Welder skilled in all-position (3G/4G) stick welding on galvanized steel for a parking garage construction project. Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and weld symbols; perform welding with E7018 electrodes; ensure high-quality welds in vertical/overhead positions; inspect welds for quality and compliance; operate welding tools safely; maintain a clean, organized work environment; follow OSHA and company safety standards; and perform additional duties as assigned by Foreman or Lead.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 years of experience performing all-position (3G/4G) stick welding
- Proven experience welding galvanized steel using E7018 electrodes
- Ability to produce high-quality welds in vertical and overhead positions
- Knowledge of welding safety procedures, blueprints, and structural welding practices
- Must be able to pass a weld test if required
