Job Summary
Administer treatments, monitor anesthesia, and perform lab work while providing comprehensive patient care for puppies, kittens, and essential preventative services. Assist in complex cases involving advanced dentistry, surgery, and sick or urgent pet care using AAHA guidelines and in-house laboratory resources. Partner with clients to educate them on treatments and review medical records, while mentoring team members to ensure efficient workflows. Work full-time in a collaborative environment with rotating Saturday shifts and closed Sundays, supported by a network of veterinarians and modern equipment including digital radiography and ultrasound.
Required Qualifications
- Certification as a Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, or RVT, as applicable)
- Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program
- A current state veterinary technician license in good standing
- Proficiency in a range of technical skills, including nursing, surgery, dental care, radiology, and laboratory procedures
- A calm and efficient approach, especially in fast-paced or stressful situations
- Strong communication skills and a passion for working collaboratively
- Full-time Certified Veterinary Technician
- Certification as a Veterinary Technician is required
