Job Summary
Certified Veterinary Technician position at St. Francis Animal Hospital in Springdale, Arkansas. The role requires 1+ year experience and high proficiency in anesthetic and surgical monitoring. Responsibilities include animal restraint and triage, collection and analysis of lab samples, diagnostic imaging, nursing care of medical and hospitalized cases, administration of medications, communication of treatment plans with clients, surgical preparation and assistance, and anesthetic management. The candidate should be able to withstand odors/noises and may be exposed to bites, scratches, and contagious diseases. Opportunities for virtual and hands-on continuing development are offered, and Saturday morning shift availability is required. Bilingual English and Spanish is preferred but not required.
