Job Summary
Certified veterinary technician needed at North Reading Veterinary Clinic. Responsibilities include animal restraint, triage of incoming patients, collection and analysis of lab samples, diagnostic imaging, management and nursing care of medical and hospitalized cases, administration of medications, communication of treatment plans with clients, surgical preparation and assistance, and anesthetic management. Must be able to withstand odors/noises and work a Saturday shift. Opportunities for virtual and hands-on training and continuing development are available to support growth in skills and career advancement. Requires a certified veterinary technician with 1+ year experience preferred but not required. Strong customer service, precise charting, and proficiency in radiographs and anesthesia/surgical monitoring are essential.
