Job Summary
Coordinate districtwide Highly Capable services and implement screening processes for Advanced Learning; lead equitable identification using universal screening and family referrals; recruit and train proctors for supervising testing; analyze program and student data to monitor participation and progress; collaborate with school leaders, teachers, IT curriculum staff, and district departments to support screening and instructional resources; provide professional development on Highly Capable instruction and identification; communicate results to staff, families, and community partners; support teachers with differentiation and curriculum resources for advanced learners; ensure compliance with state requirements and district goals; reports to the Director of P-12 Categorical Programs; position located in Bellevue, WA; requires WA teaching certificate and offers a salary range of $73,999 to $138,754 annually.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive teaching experience with multiple grade levels or subjects
- Experience with organizing complicated projects or tasks
- Possesses or qualifies for immediate issuance of a valid Washington State teaching certificate
