Job Summary
Role: Certified Teacher for K-2 in a home enrichment program using ABA. Design and implement engaging, tailored enrichment activities rooted in ABA principles to support each child’s learning needs; foster a positive, nurturing, and structured environment; daily supervision by a BCBA; collaborate with families to set and achieve developmental and educational goals; utilize ABA strategies to promote learning, communication, and social skills; maintain detailed progress notes and adapt approaches as needed; provide classroom instruction and educational support Mon-Fri 8a-2p and additional ABA services 2p-4p; small classroom ratio of 1:3 with a classroom assistant. Requires Bachelor's Degree in Special Education, ESE, or Curriculum & Instruction; valid Florida Educator Certificate; willingness to obtain RBT certification within 60 days; 1–2 years instructional experience in Florida settings; ISP experience under BCBA supervision; familiarity with ABA; salary 50K-55K; full benefits and ongoing ABA/BCBA supervision and growth opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree specifically in Special Education, Exceptional Student Education (ESE), or Curriculum & Instruction
- Florida Educator Certificate
- Must hold or be willing to obtain a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification within the first 60 days of hire (we provide training)
- Minimum 1–2 years of instructional experience in a Florida classroom, structured homeschool setting, or working 1-on-1 with neurodivergent learners
- Experience completing ISP (Individualized Support Plan) with the supervision of a BCBA
- A passion for working with children with special needs and a patient, empathetic approach
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Creative problem-solving abilities and a positive attitude
- Familiarity with ABA principles is a plus but not required—training will be provided!
