Job Summary
Provides technical and clinical support to the perioperative team during a variety of surgical procedures as the primary scrub person, handling instrumentation, supplies, and equipment, and anticipating the surgeon’s procedural needs. Requires graduation from an approved Surgical Technology program, and current BLS/CPR certification. Must demonstrate manual dexterity, ability to lift 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, task-oriented environment. Day shift, full-time position with opportunities for career path progression within the perioperative services.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved medically based and/or certificate program in Surgical Technology
- Current BLS/CPR certification
