Function as a scrub person during operative and other invasive procedures. Participate in ongoing educational and competency activities. Precept staff to the surgical technician job duties, including surgical technicians, nurses, and students. Maintain certification through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting and adhere to I.C.A.R.E. Standards. Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital offers a Magnet Designated with Distinction environment with 16 operating rooms and 1,000 cases monthly. This onsite role requires 40 hours of rotating shifts and includes a $10,000 sign-on bonus.
