Job Summary
Prepare the operating room by selecting and opening sterile instruments, assemble and check non-sterile equipment, and utilize sterilizers, lights, suction machines, electrosurgical units, and diagnostic equipment during surgery. Assist with sponge, needle, and supply counts to track materials while maintaining patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA guidelines. Requires Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification with BLS preferred. Available for PRN, part-time, or full-time Monday through Friday shifts with flexible hours.
