Job Summary
Assists in developing and communicating sustained quality and resource-optimized measures during the intraoperative phase. Advises management on operational improvement, cost containment, and supply utilization. Manages preference card maintenance, waste reduction, and surgeon onboarding; coordinates with supply chain, SPD, and OR staff to ensure appropriate resources, vendor changes, and product trials. Maintains documentation and communication with surgeons, coordinators, and staff; tracks core activities for system-wide improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of Surgical Technologist Program
- Active Surgical Technologist Certification
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a peri-operative setting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel
- Familiarity with EPIC Op-Time and HSM
