Surgical Technologist (CST) – Surgical Navigator at Bon Secours Mercy Health in Toledo, OH. The role rounds in the operating room to communicate with surgeons and staff, maintains and updates all preference cards with Clinical Coordinators, coordinates resources for cases, and works with supply chain, OR leadership, vendors, and surgeons to optimize materials, reduce waste, and facilitate cost containment and product conversions. Responsibilities include updating schedules and cards, coordinating new product trials, and maintaining progress records for system-wide improvements. Requires active Surgical Technologist certification, a vocational/technical degree, and 3 years of peri-operative experience; proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required, with preferred familiarity of EPIC Op-Time and HSM. Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and leadership skills are essential for coordinating activities across surgical teams and supply chains.
