Certified Surgical Technologist

Certified Surgical Technologist position in Bolingbrook, IL for a full-time day shift. Responsibilities include anticipating the needs of the surgeon, maintaining aseptic technique, assembling supplies, equipment, and medications prior to procedures, supporting relationships with physicians and staff, monitoring aseptic technique, reporting environmental concerns, supervising other healthcare team members in the surgical environment, assisting with orientation/training of new personnel, promoting a safe environment and appropriate action in emergencies, following infection control practices (PPE use, CDC isolation guidelines), participating in performance improvement activities and quality standards, and assisting with safe operating room turnover times. Requires CST or NBSTSA/TS-C certification, Basic Life Support (BLS), and either a High School diploma or equivalent plus an Associate degree (preferred) in Surgical Technology, with 2+ years of experience preferred.
