Job Summary
Assist in preparing the operating room for surgical procedures and stock necessary supplies. Scrub for surgeries under the direction of medical and nursing staff, handling instruments and anticipating surgeon needs while maintaining a sterile field. Provide technical assistance and support required nursing activities for patients before, during, and after operations. Ensure the OR suite remains clean and orderly throughout the shift. This role requires Certified Surgical Technician certification and the ability to stand and lift patients for extended periods.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalency
- Certified Surgical Technician certification
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift and position patients
