Certified Surgical Technician

Prepare for surgical procedures by obtaining instruments, supplies, and equipment, and arrange instrument trays while preparing sterile drapes and solutions. Open surgical supplies, clean and prepare instruments for sterilization, and assist in post-procedure cleanup and disposal of contaminated items. Measure and pass medications, hemostatic agents, and other solutions to the surgical team. Assist with patient preparation as needed and handle clinic responsibilities such as rooming patients, taking vitals, and routing phone calls. Requires CST certification, BLS, and four years of surgical technician experience. Travel is required.
