Certified Surgical Technician, CVOR

Assists the surgical team in the preparation of surgical procedures in the operating room; creates and maintains a sterile field, retracts and passes instruments, supplies and medications to surgeons during cases, and maintains supplies. Performs technical skills including maintenance of supplies, and participates in instrument, sponge, needle and blade counts with the RN. Sets up/maintains sterile field with aseptic technique and handles equipment, supplies, and clerical duties as assigned.
