Job Summary
Prepare the operating room and assist the surgical team for a variety of procedures by setting up equipment and instruments while maintaining a sterile environment. Adapt quickly to changes in healthcare technology, collaborate effectively within the OR team, and contribute directly to the patient's healing process. Utilize general and unit-specific patient care equipment, ensure safe patient handling with appropriate PPE, and maintain strong verbal and written communication skills. This full-time, day-shift role includes call rotation at CommonSpirit Memorial, where you will support complex surgical services including cancer, cardiac, and orthopedic care.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from a surgical technologist program through an approved school or the military
- Certified Surgical Technologist
- Basic Life Support - CPR
