Job Summary
Responsible for scrubbing and assisting on surgical procedures within the Cardiovascular Operating Room. Candidates must have current certification as a Surgical Technologist or a military MOS qualification as a Surgical Scrub Tech. Certification maintenance, current BLS, and at least one year of recent acute perioperative experience are mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- Current certification as a Surgical Technologist
- Military MOS qualification as a Surgical Scrub Tech may be substituted for CST certification
- Must maintain certification throughout duration of employment
- Current BLS required
- Minimum of one year recent acute perioperative experience
