Job Summary
Perform routine scrub duties according to AORN standards and established policies during surgical and invasive procedures under the direction of a registered nurse. Maintain a safe environment by keeping current on operating room techniques, procedures, instruments, supplies, and equipment while assisting with the ongoing Performance improvement Program. Rotate shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays as required for flexible hours. Assists with annual performance evaluations and competencies.
