Job Summary
CVOR Certified Surgical Technologist II to independently function as a member of the Cardiovascular Operating Room team, preparing sterile supplies and equipment for CVOR procedures and performing direct patient-care room duties in adherence to procedural guidelines; requires high school diploma or equivalent, graduation from an accredited surgical technology program, two years OR experience, and CST credential with BLS. 36 hours per week on day shifts (6:30a-7p) with call; 10k sign-on bonus for CSTs with 1 year of experience. Responsibilities include sterile preparation, equipment setup, assisting in the OR, and supporting patient care and family needs within the CVOR team.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduation from an accredited surgical technology program or surgical technology military program
- Minimum of two years’ work experience within an operating room setting
- Credentialed as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers
