Certified Surgical Assistant - CSA

Assists the surgeon in a wide range of surgical procedures across multiple specialties; demonstrates suturing, use of surgical instrumentation, proper positioning of patients, and a working knowledge of aseptic technique and perioperative policies. The CSA supports the surgeon’s needs in a multi-specialty perioperative setting including general, orthopedic, neurological, spinal, ENT/radical neck, gynecological, urology, cardiovascular, thoracic, vascular, trauma, plastic, transplant, colon-rectal, and pediatric surgery at Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato, MN.
