Job Summary
Prepare the operating room, sterilize equipment, and support the surgical team during procedures in general, total joint ortho, vascular, and neuro surgery. Ensure patient safety while assisting physicians and nurses in the operating room. Shift hours run 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM or 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with a schedule of four 10-hour shifts and variable days off. Required Qualifications
- Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
- BLS Certification
- 2 years' experience as a certified OR tech / Surg Tech in a surgical environment
- For CVOR positions, 2 years' experience as a certified CVOR technologist in a cardiac surgical environment
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
- Experience in general surgery, total joint ortho, vascular, and neuro surgery
- Shift hours: 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM
