Job Summary
Prepare the operating room, sterilize equipment, and support the surgical team during procedures. Assist physicians and nurses while ensuring patient safety and well-being. Maintain certification from the NBSTSA and hold BLS certification. Provide experience with crani procedures, endo vascular procedures, and robotics systems including Globus, Mazor, and Mako. Required Qualifications
- Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
- BLS Certification
- 2 years' experience as a certified OR tech / Surg Tech in a surgical environment
- For CVOR positions, 2 years' experience as a certified CVOR technologist in a cardiac surgical environment
- Neuro / Spine experience
- Ortho experience
- Experience with Globus
- Experience with Mazor robotics for spine
- Experience with Mako for joints
- Experience with crani procedures
- Experience with endo vascular procedures
- Late shifts and call required
- Weekend on-call required
