Job Summary
Prepare the operating room, sterilize equipment, and support the surgical team during procedures to ensure patient safety. Maintain current NBSTSA certification and BLS certification, with two years of experience in a surgical environment required prior to start. All travelers must be fingerprinted and provide documentation that the check is being processed. Shift hours are 0700-1900 with weekly orientation on Mondays. Weekly, on-time pay, full medical benefits, and 100% paid housing are included.
Required Qualifications
- Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
- BLS Certification
- 2 years' experience as a certified OR tech / Surg Tech in a surgical environment
- For CVOR positions, 2 years' experience as a certified CVOR technologist in a cardiac surgical environment
- All travelers must have required certifications prior to start
- Clinical staff on assignment in New Mexico must be fingerprinted before hire and provide documentation that the check is being processed
