Job Summary
Prepare the operating room, sterilize equipment, and support the surgical team during procedures to ensure patient safety and well-being. Assist physicians and nurses in cardiac or general surgical environments as required. Maintain current NBSTSA certification and BLS certification while leveraging at least two years of relevant OR experience. Required Qualifications
- Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
- BLS Certification
- 2 years' experience as a certified OR tech / Surg Tech in a surgical environment
- For CVOR positions, 2 years' experience as a certified CVOR technologist in a cardiac surgical environment
