Job Summary
Prepare the operating room, sterilize equipment, and support the surgical team during procedures while ensuring patient safety. Maintain current NBSTSA certification and BLS certification. Provide expertise in crani, endo vascular, and spine procedures using Globus, Mazor robotics, and Mako systems. Requires 2 years of OR tech experience, with additional CVOR, neuro, spine, ortho, and specific robotic platform experience preferred. Late shifts and call required, with weekend on-call rotation. Required Qualifications
- Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
- BLS Certification
- 2 years' experience as a certified OR tech / Surg Tech in a surgical environment
- For CVOR positions, 2 years' experience as a certified CVOR technologist in a cardiac surgical environment
- Neuro / Spine experience
- Ortho experience
- Experience with Globus
- Experience with Mazor robotics for spine
- Experience with Mako for joints
- Experience with crani procedures
- Experience with endo vascular procedures
- Late shifts and call required
- Weekend on-call required
