Certified Substitute Teacher

Report to the building principal upon arrival and review all daily plans and schedules. Maintain established classroom routines and procedures while teaching the lesson outlined in the Substitute's Teacher's Guide. Consult with the principal or department head before initiating any procedures not specified in the handbook. Oversee pupil behavior during class, lunch, and recess periods. Report daily activities in writing on the provided form at the conclusion of each teaching day. Follow all policies, rules, and procedures subject to regular teachers and any other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor or superintendent. Salary is commensurate with the Russell Independent Schools Substitute Salary Schedule.
