Job Summary
Provide instruction in the absence of the regular classroom teacher by following teacher-provided lesson plans and delivering instruction aligned with assigned subject areas; maintain a positive, safe, and productive learning environment; collaborate with students, staff, and families; communicate professionally with stakeholders to ensure continuity of instruction and student success.
Required Qualifications
- Certification from Nebraska Department of Education (Local Certifications issued by NDE are accepted)
- Previous experience in a classroom setting, or equivalent educational experience, is preferred
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with diverse student populations
- Ability to adapt to different teaching environments and implement lesson plans as directed
- Must be flexible and adaptable to a variety of school environments and teaching needs
- Ability to manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive and respectful learning environment
