Job Summary

Embedded human performance professional responsible for developing, implementing, and managing evidence-based strength and conditioning programs for TACP Operators within the Air National Guard HPO program. Conduct comprehensive assessments and needs analyses; design individualized and group strength and conditioning programs; focus on injury prevention, performance enhancement, mobility, recovery, and long-term durability; deliver educational briefings related to physical readiness and human performance; maintain documentation of training activities and workload metrics; assist with equipment and supply inventories; participate in required military installation training and professional development activities.

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or higher in Human Performance, Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a closely related field.
  • National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS); or Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCa) Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC).
  • Minimum of five (5) years of full-time experience as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist supporting Tactical military athletes, Collegiate athletics (Division I preferred), Professional athletics, Aerospace, test pilot, astronaut, or other comparable high-performance environments.
  • Current CPR and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certification.
  • Ability to meet all installation access requirements.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
