Job Summary

Embedded human performance professional responsible for developing, implementing, and managing evidence-based strength and conditioning programs designed to improve physical capacity, reduce injury risk, increase recovery, and optimize the operational performance of TACP Operators. Duties include conducting comprehensive performance assessments and needs analyses, designing and implementing individualized and group programs, focusing on injury prevention, mobility, recovery, and long-term durability, delivering educational briefings on physical readiness, recovery, and human performance, periodic evaluations with program adjustments, implementing neck and spine strengthening protocols, utilizing performance technologies and validated assessment tools, maintaining documentation of training activities and workload metrics, providing recommendations to leadership for program improvements, assisting with management of equipment and inventories, and participating in installation training and development activities.

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or higher in Human Performance, Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a closely related field
  • National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS); or Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCa) Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC)
  • Minimum of five (5) years of full-time experience as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist supporting Tactical military athletes, Collegiate athletics (Division I preferred), Professional athletics, Aerospace, test pilot, astronaut, or other comparable high-performance environments.
  • Current CPR and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certification
  • Ability to meet all installation access requirements
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
