Job Summary
Provide individualized speech-language therapy services to preschool students while conducting comprehensive evaluations to identify communication needs. Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with educational goals, maintain accurate progress notes and evaluation reports, and complete all required documentation. Collaborate with teachers, families, and special education professionals to coordinate services, participate in IEP meetings, and contribute recommendations supporting student success. This temporary maternity leave assignment runs September through December with a caseload of approximately 45 students. An active Washington State license and ESA certification are required before employment begins.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Active Washington State Speech-Language Pathologist license
- ESA certification
- Eligibility to obtain ESA certification before the start of employment
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Availability to provide services on-site
