Job Summary
Performs respiratory care procedures in the acute and critical care areas of the facility, including point of care testing, arterial punctures, blood gas analysis, and QC on blood gas equipment; night shift; PRN with Texas license and NBRC CRT credentials in a Medical City Alliance/HCA Healthcare environment.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an Accredited Respiratory Program
- Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license with the state of Texas.
- Active NBRC CRT credentials
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire from an HCA approved vendor.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 90 days from an HCA approved vendor.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within 120 days of hire.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required within 120 days of hire if working in NICU.
